What is the HLES Leopard Ramble?
The Hoffmann Lane Leopard Ramble is an annual fundraiser dedicated to supporting the students, teachers, and staff of Hoffmann Lane Elementary. Through the generous participation of our community, the event raises essential funds to enhance the educational experience of our students. ALL proceeds from the Leopard Ramble directly support the purchase of educational equipment, classroom resources, and other items identified on the teacher and principal “wish lists.”
Examples of items purchased last school year with the funds raised from Ramble are:
-Classroom Educational Programs- IXL, Imagine Math, Reading Eggs, Xtra Math, Story Works magazines, Think Up math books, etc.
-Educational experiences at school (planetarium and the dinosaur exhibit)
-Teacher appreciation items
-Fulfillment of teacher grant requests
-Scholarship program for HLES Seniors
- “Popcorn Fridays”
-Fieldtrip contributions
How can my family or business help?
Your student(s) will be bringing home a small packet of information with more about how to donate, as well as an envelope during the first month of school (if you didn’t get yours at Meet the Teacher night). Donations can be made on behalf of a business, family, or individual, and will be accepted in the form of cash, check or credit card via the Cheddar Up app. Donations will be accepted through Friday, October 10th.
The Ramble School Celebration
On Friday, October 10th, our students will be celebrating the close and success of the fundraiser at school. The classes will head out to the playground by grade to participate in a group dance and complete a “fun run/walk” around the track.
